What a wonderful Christmas season. But after celebrating Christmas v1.0 (Idaho), v2.0(Sarah, Maria and I) and v3.0 (the dos Remedios family)…I’m exhausted. I don’t recall ever being so overwhelmed by Christmas…one of the worst problems that come with getting older I guess. How sad. On Christmas day, we spent most of the day prepping [...] Happy Christmas Eve! We are in Idaho to celebrate Christmas with Sarah’s family in Idaho’s panhandle. While we’re very happy to be here…the trip over almost ruined the entire experience. Since having Maria, we’ve not had a “perfect” round-trip experience from Edmonds to Sandpoint and back but this is definitely shaping up to be the worst. It [...] “Hello, I’d like to return 2009. I don’t think it came with all the days it was supposed to…there’s no way it’s already time to write the year end Christmas letter!” Seems as though all my blog updates recently have started off with some comment about being me being remiss in keeping the family blog more current. This post will, unfortunately, be no different. Guess we’ve been busy with the happenings of the season. So what have we been up to since (gasp) Thanksgiving? It was so cold over there we didn’t have the opportunity to do our usual snowshoeing or skiing…but it was great to see everyone and spend some quality time with the family. This year’s return home was a particular adventure [...] So this is going to be a test to see who is still actually looking at this blog as this is going to be the only place I’m going to post this Santa picture until Christmas.
